CMF By Nothing May Launch Buds 2, Watch Pro 2 With Rotating Dial Alongside CMF Phone 1

CMF Phone 1 is confirmed to be launched as London-based Nothing’s sub-brand CMF’s first smartphone. While the launch of the CMF Phone 1 was confirmed last week, now the carl Pei-led consumer tech brand has released a new teaser video revealing a unique rotating dial. The official video leaked by the company suggests that CMF By Nothing will be launching a pair of new earbuds and a smartwatch alongside the CMF Phone 1.

The teaser video shows off the rear panel on the CMF Phone 1 in a matte black finish. The CMF Phone 1 will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC is likely to be similar to the Nothing Phone 2a. (Read our full review of the Nothing Phone 2a here)

The second product shown in the teaser video posted on X, formerly Twitter, appears to be the purported CMF Buds 2, identifiable by a dial resembling that of its predecessor. The third device spotted in the teaser seems to be the CMF Watch Pro 2, with a unique rotating dial. It is being said that the dial may be replaceable and users would be able to customise the smartwatch’s appearance.

The CMF Phone 1 is likely to launch as an affordable smartphone priced at Rs 19,999. The device will be available for purchase on e-commerce site Flipkart. It is confirmed to launch with MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC and support 33W fast wired charging. The device may not come with Nothing’s signature Glyph interface at the rear.

The company recently posted an image on X showcasing elements of the smartphone’s design. The image revealed that the phone will feature a vibrant orange colour, consistent with the colour used in other CMF products such as the GAN charger and CMF Buds. A matte black colour has been teased today, June 12. We can expect the device to be unveiled in more colours.

CMF, a sub-brand of Nothing, is focused on providing budget-friendly products. Notably, until now, it has only released accessories, including a smartwatch, charger and TWS earbuds.

A previous teaser from Nothing showed a unique screw on the back of the CMF Phone 1, said to be integral to a feature called “Nothing Lock.” This mechanism is said to enables users to connect exclusive accessories, including support brackets and lanyards, to a specialised connector on the device. Several leaks indicate that the device will be budget friendly.
