Handset maker Tecno has introduced its artificial intelligence (AI) assistant, Ella-GPT, for the Camon 30 series. To recall, Tecno unveiled the Camon 30 and Camon 30 Premier 5G smartphones in India last month. Tecno’s Ella-GPT lets users generate prompt responses, brainstorm ideas, perform real-time translations as well as manage daily activities. It support more than 70 languages.
The AI chatbot was initially launched with the company’s first foldable, the Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G to enhance the user experience. According to Tecno, the Ella Chatbot supports over 70 languages and offers personalised assistance to smartphone users. The Ask AI chatbot can generate sentences to complete a text, check for grammar errors, and more, further improving usability and productivity.
The Tecno Camon 30 Series gets an AI Generate function within the Notepad app, enabling users to transform random strokes into intricate sketches and generate detailed images from basic outlines. This feature aims to foster creativity by providing users with a simple way to visualise their ideas. Another standout feature of the Camon 30 Series is the Polar Ace AI Image Processor.
Developed in partnership with Sony, this chip enhances the camera’s ability to capture vibrant photos, even in low-light conditions. With enhanced clarity and detail, users can capture starry nights and sunset’s twilight.
Tecno had launched the Camon 30 5G in India, priced at Rs 22,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant and Rs 26,999 for the 12GB+512GB variant. The Camon 30 Premier 5G is available for Rs 39,999 for the 12GB+512GB storage variant. The Tecno Camon 30 5G and Camon 30 Premier 5G are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 and Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoCs, respectively.
The Premier version features a triple-camera setup, including a telephoto lens and a Sony imaging chip, enhancing its photographic capabilities.
