Smartwatch making giant Garmin on Wednesday (June 5) launched the Forerunner 165 series in India. The launch of the Garmin Forerunner 165 coincides with the Global Running Day. The new Garmin Forerunner 165 is very similar to the pricier Garmin Forerunner 265S and that is the key highlight of the smartwatch. The Garmin Forerunner 165 is relatively affordable and made especially for runners.

It is an easy-to-use GPS-enabled running smartwatch with a touchscreen AMOLED display. Additionally, this new smartwatch by Garmin comes with 11 days of claimed battery life in “smartwatch mode” and up to 19 hours in “GPS mode”. The Forerunner 165 is equipped with a Pulse OX blood oxygen saturation monitor, barometric altimeter, floor climb, compass as well as new-generation ambient light sensors.

Garmin Forerunner 165 Series Price, Colours In India
Garmin Forerunner 165 series is priced at Rs 33,490 in India and comes with a two-year warranty. It will be available in four colour options, including Turquoise/Aqua, Black/Slate grey, Mist grey/Whitestone and Berry/Lilac. This smartwatch will be avaailable at select premium brand stores.

The new range of the Garmin Forerunner 165 series is sleek and lightweight, and comes in a 43mm case size. The Forerunner 165 comes with colourful, dual-shot bands. It has an AMOLED touchscreen display, with an option to listen to music on the go. They can do this by downloading playlists directly from their Spotify or Amazon Music accounts and listen without a phone using a pair of wireless headphones.
