As per a report from ESPNcricinfo, Tim David is expected to sit out this crucial fixture, a major setback for RCB, given his consistent performances with the bat this season.
He has scored 187 runs in 9 innings with a super high strike rate of 185.14, the highest in the team. He even scored a half-century and has been very consistent, averaging over 62 runs per dismissal. No other batter in IPL 2025, batting lower than number 3, has been more effective than him.
RCB will be hoping he recovers in time for the playoffs because he’s been a game-changer for them.
If Tim David doesn’t play today, RCB may bring in Liam Livingstone or Tim Seifert as a replacement.
