Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor receives safety upgrade, new colour option: Price, details
Toyota has given the Urban Cruiser Taisor a significant safety upgrade, making six airbags standard across all variants. The Fronx-based crossover has also received a fresh Bluish Black colour option. Bookings are now open at Toyota dealerships and through the company’s online portal.

Besides these upgrades, the model remains the same in terms of design, features, and dimensions. The new colour scheme will be available with select trims. Every variant will now feature six airbags: including dual front, side, and curtain units. This will be in line with the MoRTH’s mandate to equip every car sold from October 2025 with six airbags as standard. The Urban Cruiser Taisor continues to be available with two engine choices: a 1.2-litre K-Series petrol and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, paired with multiple gearbox options, including manual, AMT, and 6-speed automatic. Fuel efficiency figures go up to 22.79 kmpl, depending on the variant.
Speaking of the features, the model boasts of LED headlamps, a dual-tone interior, rear AC vents, a 9-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, cruise control, paddle shifters, and connected tech via Toyota i-Connect. Prices for the Urban Cruiser Taisor start at Rs 7.77 lakh, ex-showroom, and the SUV is backed by a 3-year/1,00,000 km warranty, extendable to 5 years/2,20,000 km.
