According to the top gainers on the Token Mindshare of the AI-based Web3 search platform Kaito, the top five cryptocurrencies currently attracting the most attention as of the 31st are Bitcoin (BTC), HyperLiquid (HYPE), Tether (USDT), ai16z, and Jito (JTO).
Bitcoin has recently drawn investor interest due to increased price volatility. HYPE is speculated to have gained attention after being included in the 'Grayscale Research Top 20' list for Q1 2025 by the global crypto asset management firm Grayscale on the 30th (local time). This list includes cryptocurrencies that Grayscale believes have high growth potential for the next quarter. HyperLiquid also launched a staking feature on this day. As of 1:42 PM, HYPE is trading at $26.22 on CoinMarketCap, down 4.5% from the previous day.
Tether attracted attention by securing over $1 billion worth of Bitcoin on the 30th (local time). According to The Block, Tether transferred 7,629 Bitcoins to its Bitcoin holding account via on-chain data on this day. The transferred Bitcoins are valued at $700 million (approximately 1 trillion KRW). It is known that Tether currently holds $7.6 billion (approximately 11.2 trillion KRW) worth of Bitcoin.
ai16z has drawn attention with the potential launch of a Layer 1 blockchain. ai16z is reviewing plans to revamp its tokenomics, including the launch of a Layer 1 blockchain and a staking mechanism. As of 1:41 PM, ai16z is trading at $1.71 on CoinMarketCap, up about 40% from the previous day.
Jito also seems to have gained attention by being included in the Grayscale Research Top 20 list on the 30th (local time). As of 1:42 PM, Jito is trading at $3.22 on CoinMarketCap, down 3.07% from the previous day.
