The 22-year-old’s destructive knock, studded with 12 fours and eight sixes, powered South Africa to 218 for seven — their highest-ever T20I total against Australia.After a slow start to the series with just two runs in the opener, the Chennai Super Kings batter roared back in style. Brevis brought up his fifty in 25 balls and then accelerated to reach his century in just 41 deliveries — the second-fastest for South Africa in men’s T20Is, behind only David Miller’s 35-ball effort against Bangladesh in 2017.At 22 years and 105 days, Brevis became the youngest South African to score a T20I hundred, eclipsing Richard Levi’s mark of 24 years and 36 days.
