With that knock, he scripted the third fastest century for the side.
After taking the reins as the LSG skipper in 2022, KL Rahul unleashed his beast mode against the Mumbai Indians. While opening the innings, he gave a great start. After touching the century mark in just 56 deliveries, he registered an exceptional unbeaten knock of 103 runs in 60 balls.
In that knock, he smashed 9 boundaries and 5 over-boundaries while batting with a strike rate of 171.67. With that brilliance, he pushed the team’s total to 199 runs. That knock has been scripted as the second fastest ton for the franchise.
As the Lucknow Super Giants crossed swords with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Rishabh Pant came into his ‘Pantball’ mode. After consecutive setbacks, he bounced back with an outstanding knock. While batting first, the LSG skipper smashed an outstanding knock in just 56 balls.
He remained unbeaten, scoring 118 runs in 61 balls, along with 11 boundaries and 8 over-boundaries, with a strike rate of 193.44. While dominating the RCB bowlers, he pushed LSG’s score to 227 runs and scripted the fastest hundred for the team.
