The pitch at Wankhede usually favors the batters. The ball comes nicely onto the bat, and the short boundaries make it easier to play big shots. It’s not a complete batting paradise, but scores between 190 and 210 are considered very competitive here. You can expect a lot of runs, but anything above 220 might be a stretch. Early on, fast bowlers could get some help from the pitch’s natural hardness and a bit of coastal swing. However, batting becomes easier under lights.
