Rishabh Pant scored his second century in the Indian Premier League (IPL) during Lucknow Super Giants’ last league match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
Pant hit a 54-ball century with the help of 10 sixes and six fours. He last scored an IPL century in IPL 2018 while playing for Delhi Capitals.
His unbeaten 118 off 61 balls helped LSG post a daunting 227 for three after RCB elected to bowl.
He’s now the ninth centurion of IPL 2025. His 118 is the second-best individual score this season so far.
The LSG captain had a forgettable tournament with the bat before Tuesday, having scored just 151 runs in 12 innings. He now finishes the season with 269 runs at an average of 24.45 and a strike rate of 133.16.
