After meeting Shah, the Jharkhand CM-designate said, “There will be meetings (with Amit Shah) even in the days ahead… There are a lot of things. We have to form our government. We came here for blessings.” The JMM leader, however, refused to comment on whether Amit Shah or PM Modi would attend the swearing-in ceremony.
Soren and his wife Kalpana also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi after meeting Shah. Soren had resigned in front of Jharkhand Governor Santosh Gangwar as Chief Minister to stake claim to form the government.
