Jammu Kashmir National Conference leader and party candidate from Ganderbal and Budgam, Omar Abdullah is all “nerves” as he fights a battle to save the prestige of the Abdullah family in the valley. On the eve of counting, Abdullah shared a GIF of an anxious Spongebob saying: “By this time tomorrow it will all be clear. Now if only I could go to sleep & wake up 24 hours later I’d be a happy person. Nerves!!!!”

The Ganderbal seat has been an Abdullah family stronghold once represented by his grandfather Sheikh Abdullah, father Farooq Abdullah and himself.

With counting set to begin in the next one hour, he wished best for colleagues and allies. “We fought the good fight & now, InshaAllah, the results will reflect that,” he said.
