The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has strongly criticized Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s remarks questioning Prime Minister Modi’s recent five-nation tour, deeming them “irresponsible and regrettable.” The MEA disassociated the government from Mann’s statements, which mocked the relevance of Modi’s visits to countries like Ghana and Brazil.
