Mumbai Indians thrashed Lucknow Super Giants by 54 runs on Sunday at the Wankhede to climb to second in the IPL 2025 points table.
MI is level on points with top-placed Gujarat Titans, but is second due to inferior Net Run Rate.
The winner of Sunday’s second encounter between Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru will go top of the table.
LSG continued to hold onto its sixth spot in the points table, with its playoff hopes fast fading.
