South African President Cyril Ramaphosa drew widespread attention on Saturday after appearing in a video message wearing a national football team jersey while addressing the women’s cricket team ahead of their historic ODI World Cup final against India. The video, intended as a motivational message, was shared on social media but quickly went viral for the President’s outfit choice, with many online users questioning how such a prominent figure could make the error of wearing a football jersey instead of cricket.
