AAP Haryana candidate list: Haryana Assembly Election 2024: The Aam Aadmi Party released its fifth and sixth lists of candidates for the Haryana assembly elections slated to be held on October 5. In its fifth list, it named nine candidates, while in the sixth it put out 19 names. AAP has pitted its state vice-president Anil Ranga against BJP’s Krishan Kumar Bedi, a former minister.
In Tosham, the party has fielded Daljeet Singh against BJP’s Shruti Choudhry, who switched from the Congress along with her mother Kiran Choudhry earlier in June. The fight will be interesting in Tosham as Shruti Choudhry will be going up against Congress’s Anirudh Choudhry, who is her brother and JJP’s Rajesh Bhardwaj. Daljeet Singh from Talu village had been AAP’s district president for five years.

The others named in AAP’s fifth list are Dr Gopichand from Nangal Chaudhry, Pardeep Jutail from Pataudi, Wasim Jaffar from Ferozepur Jhirka, Nayab Thekedar Bisru from Punhana, ML Gautam from Hodal, Dharmender Hindustani from Palwal, and Kaushal Sharma from Prithla.
In its sixth list, the AAP named Dharmveer Kungar from Bawani Khera against former JJP councillor Kapoor Valmiki, who switched to the BJP on August 22 this year. In Badkhal, OP Verma will be going up against BJP’s Dhanesh Adlakha, the chairman of the State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank, and Congress’s Vijay Pratap Singh.

The party has also fielded OP Gujjar from Kalka, Prem Garg from Panchkula, Ketan Sharma from Ambala City, Gurtej Singh from Mulana, Asha Pathania from Shahbad, Gehal Singh Sandhu from Pehowa, Rakesh Khanpur from Guhla, Ritu Arora from Panipat City, and Wazir Singh Dhanda from Jind.
So far the AAP has released 89 names so far. Its alliance talks with its INDIA partner Congress failed after several rounds of meetings among senior state leaders from both parties.
The 90 seats of the Haryana assembly will go up for grabs on October 5 and the results will be declared on October 8.
