The AAP has dismissed speculation of an alliance with the Congress for the Delhi Assembly. Reacting to a “seat-sharing formula” doing the rounds, AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal said that there would be no alliance with the Congress. “The Aam Aadmi Party will be fighting this election on its own strength in Delhi. There is no possibility of any alliance with the Congress,” Kejriwal said.

Earlier, there were speculations that the Congress had sought 15 seats as part of an alliance deal for the Delhi Assembly elections.
The speculation was sparked by a meeting between Kejriwal and Congress MP Abhishek Manu Singhvi at NCP-SP chief Sharad Pawar’s house.
