Tragedy struck Bengaluru as a massive stampede during Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s victory parade resulted in 11 fatalities and 75 injuries. An overwhelming crowd of approximately three lakh people gathered outside M Chinnaswamy Stadium, far exceeding its capacity. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stated that the government and KSCA underestimated the turnout, announcing compensation for the victims’ families.
